Outcomes

The demand for business analysts has increased in recent years and is projected to continue. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the job outlook for business analysts (also known as a management analyst) is projected to grow 14% through 2030, faster than average out of all the occupations. About 99,400 openings are projected for each year. 

The BLS reports the median annual wage for a business analyst in 2021 was $93,000, and the highest 10% earned more than $163,760. 

Certificate and Licensing

Greensboro College has partnered with Silvertone Analytics to offer the Business Analytics Certificate Program. Silvertone Analytics provides the learning platform, instructors, mentors, materials, directs and guides every aspect of this program, while Greensboro College awards your certificate of completion and non-credit transcripts for future employers, personal use and for academic admissions.

The program is split into three sections: a business analytics course, a business analytics apprenticeship and a business analytics personal branding project. In order to move on from the business analytics course to the apprenticeship and personal branding components of the program, participants must pass a thorough assessment exam.
